About the Webmaster |

Janice Ann Moore Baxter is my wife. Janice is, of course, a member of the Corning High School Class of 1969. I'm just the person that tags along to your class reunions with her with my camera. Actually I was born in Corning, Arkansas -- the very last baby born at the old Corning Hospital -- way back in 1951. My ancestral roots are deep in the area around Corning. I would have even been one of your fellow class members had my family not moved away when I was very young. So with that background and my ties through Janice and her family, I feel very much like I am a part of you as well. Although my career was primarily involved in printing and publishing things with ink on paper, I have been involved in Internet publishing projects since 1997 when, as I was suffering through a bout with a kidney stone, I first created The Kidney Stone WebSite. When people started visiting that site (35 the first day and over 3500 a day a short while later), I was hooked! I am a firm believer in the Internet as being the most universal and economical communication medium of the present and future. Other projects I have created include: The Japanese Beetle Website - all about those pesky garden destroying bugs; Story Time Tales - a growing collection of inspiritional stories; a compilation of information about my parents', Johnie and Marie Baxter, 70th Anniversary Celebration, with the story of their ancestors; several church websites that I have developed as Website Development Service for Christian Organizations; and a few YouTube videos. Janice and I have lived in North Carolina for over 30 years now. If you are going to be in the neighborhood, shoot us an email, and we will try to help you find all the interesting and historical sites around Winston Salem. I hope that you enjoy what you have found here on this website and will tell all your friends and fellow classmates where to find it. Thank you for dropping by to visit the 40th Reunion of the Corning High School Class of 1969 website. Right now new features are being added every few days, so come back again! If you would like to send me a message, you can reach me by using either the email address or regular postal mail address, or most easily by using the simple online contact form of this website. All three of these are located on the Contact Us page of this website. Roger Baxter |
